If I found another way
to breathe my Life
I could not find
a better way
than I found tonight
as I looked into your eyes
and breathed your gentle scent
into my soul.
If I found another way
to see the world
I could not hope
to see the wonder
such as I found
When first I saw
you smile
and drew your gentle soul
into my eyes.
If I found another way
to form the world around me
I could never hope
to feel the magic
more than when
I felt the texture
of your skin
gently on my fingertip.
If I found another way
to lead my life
I could never know
any other way
more closely matched
to perfection
than to live the life
that included you.
